School Structure

Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school providing liberal arts education to students from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 9. Admission is open to all qualified students and is not based on race, religion, color or ethnic origin.

Curriculum

The subjects taught by Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey are English, science, mathematics, social studies, computer, foreign language (Turkish, Spanish), fine arts, and physical education. After/Before School Care

Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey opens its doors at 7:45 a.m. in the morning. Students are supervised until classes start at 8:30 a.m.

Students at Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey can stay until 3:45 p.m. if they need to. They are supervised by the teachers and supposed to work on their homework and assignments. Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey also has reading programs in which the students can participate after school.

Access to Student Records via the Internet

Parents at Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jerse can follow along their children's classroom activities, homework, assignments, and grades via the Internet. All of the teachers at Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey uses "Concept Schools Student Database System", a grade book that lets teachers securely publish grades, class activities on the Internet for students and parents. Parents get their passwords from the teachers and set up their account on the Internet. Then, they can log in and check out what is published by the teachers everyday. www.passj.org/grades

Lunch

Pioneer Academy of Science - South Jersey does not serve hot lunch. Students are supposed to bring their lunches. However, monitoring teachers will be there to assist them.. School canteen is open everyday during lunch hours. Students can purchase soda and snacks in addition to their lunch.
